In my quest for using more natural products, I happened upon a recipe for a shower spray. We have extremely hard water with lots of iron so finding a shower spray that actually works can be a challenge. In case anyone is interested - I tweaked the original recipe and this is what I came up with:

Take a spray bottle and fill it with 1/2 white vinegar and 1/2 water. Add 2 teaspoons of a rinse agent (like Jet Dry) and about 5 drops Dawn dishwashing detergent.

That's it. I've been using this for about a year now and it works just as well as the store bought sprays. It may not be completely natural but at least I know what's in it. And IT'S A LOT CHEAPER!

Hurray for vinegar!
